Appointments: To schedule an  appointment at our office, please call 931-455-2045 (after 8:30 am ).  Every attempt will be made to schedule you with the provider of your choice.  If their schedule is full for the day you have selected, then you will have the option of scheduling your visit on a different date or selecting an appointment with a different provider.  The choice is up to you.  If special arrangements need to be taken into consideration please inform the receptionist.  If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call the office as soon as possible so we can offer that time slot to someone else.

Finances:  We make every effort to be fair and consistent with our fees.  It is often difficult for the receptionist to predict to the total cost of a visit over the phone.  Office fees reflect time spent, supplies used, and the complexity of the problem or procedure.   If you have any questions, please feel to ask.  For your convenience, we accept payment in cash, check, or credit card.

Hospitalization:  Patients requiring hospital admission are cared for at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma.  Our physicians make rounds each morning.

Insurance:  We accept many types of medical insurance and can file a claim with your primary insurance company.  You will be billed for any portion of the office or hospital visit not covered by your insurance company.  We will try to work with your insurance company in any way we can.  You, however, are ultimately responsible for the cost of services rendered if there is any problem collecting from your insurance company in a timely manner.  Your co-payment should be paid at the time of service.

Lab & X-ray:  We will try to notify you of abnormal lab and x-ray results as they become available to us.  Most test results should be available within the week.

Nights & weekends:  If you have an emergency after office hours, call the main office number (931-455-2045) and our answering service will get in touch with the physician on call.  If necessary, most local Emergency Rooms are open an available to you 24 hours a day.

Prescriptions:  On rare occasions, we will refill “maintenance” medicines over the phone.  We will need to see you in the office, in order to get treatment for any new problems, such as an acute illness or infection.  We do not refill narcotics (such as pain pills or medication for anxiety).
